I am also seeking facilitators of various types of energetic Healing. If you are a practitioner and interested in sharing an energetic healing modality, please contacted me ASAP. This is also an opportunity for those who just completed training in Reiki, Quantum touch or other forms of energetic healing to practice and get in your hours. 

Would you like to experience some energy work; Reiki, Quantum Touch, Massage, body work or other forms of healing touch? Perhaps you are a healer yourself, and would like to both give and receive healing energy. This event is designed to be informative and to serve as a healing circle for energy work and healing touch.

We are planning to offer a healing circle and potluck every month, typically the fourth Sunday of the month, so please mark your calendars, bring a healthy dish or snack to share, and feel the energy!  

I am a Reiki Master and a Touch Artist. In my own private practice I offer Reiki as well as some other types of holistic healing modalities.  I will give a brief talk about Reiki, and teach the participants some healing touch techniques. 

I have also invited several other healers to join us as well. My intension is to fill the space with healing energy. My intention is that everyone who attends will have the opportunity to experience healing and ideally get in touch with your inner healer. The guest healers will also have an opportunity to briefly describe and share the type of energetic healing that they offer. 

I am not charging a specific fee for tickets to this event, but leaving this open for donations. If you are a healer or participant and would like to make a contribution to help offset the expense of renting the space and promoting this event, it would be most welcome.  A donation basket will be available at the event. The "suggested" donation amount is $15, but any amount is welcome.  

Reiki (pronounced Ray Key) is a combination of two Japanese words rei and ki meaning universal live force energy. Reiki is an ancient laying-on of hands healing technique that uses life force energy to heal, balancing the subtle energies within our bodies. Reiki addresses physical, emotional, mental and spiritual imbalances. This healing art is an effective delivery system. The Reiki practitioner serves as a vessel that supplies healing energies where they are most needed. Reiki's ki-energies flow out of the practitioner's body through the palms of the hands while they are touching the recipient's body.

What to Expect During a Reiki Healing Session. You will be asked to lay down on a massage table, couch, bed or possibly even sit upright in a chair. You will be fully clothed except for your shoes. You may also be asked to remove or loosen your belt so that your breathing is not restricted in any way. It is best to choose loose-fitting garments to wear on the day of your appointment. Wearing natural fabrics is best (cotton, wool, or linen). You may also be asked to remove any jewelry (rings, bracelets, pendants, etc.) prior to the session, so consider leaving these items at home.
